Our Story
Upon returning to Tooele County after living 13 years all over the country and abroad, I was eager to explore my home sweet home with new eyes. I found myself scouring the place for fun things to do. I knew the fun was out there, but it was sometimes hard to find.
I’d try to remember the info I saw on a marquee. I’d find a crumpled flyer in my pocket a day too late. Taking the bull by the horns, I created this online resource for myself and my family so we would never again miss out. Then I thought, why not share it?
The response has been overwhelming. Many happy that it is helping them plan ahead and also be spontaneous when they want to do something fun “right now.” Newcomers glad it has helped them find where they “fit”. Local businesses and organizations thanking me for publicity and getting people into their shops and to their events.
This is my home. I’ll be here for the rest of my life. I love it! There is so much to enjoy. So many unique and interesting people and places. I hope TooeleValleyToday.com makes it easier for you to enjoy Tooele County too.
