Autumn Harvest Open House

You are cordially invited to attend the Stansbury Art and Literary Society AUTUMN HARVEST Open House on Tuesday, October 27, 7 pm, at the Tooele Applied Technology College, 88 S. Tooele Blvd. (1100 West), Tooele. This event is a collaboration with the Tooele County Master Gardeners, who will display their fresh produce, and the Stansbury Art and Lit members who will reproduce these displays on paper. Members are also exhibiting their artwork and creative crafts. Of special interest is the presentation to be given by Dr. Dale Thurber on "Gardening and Food Dependency Issues for our Local Community". Dr. Thurber is known for his ‘giant’ tomatoes he has grown and his extensive collection of tomato seeds. A "Delectation of Tomatoes" table will be available, weather permitting, for sampling the many varieties of tomatoes grown by Dr. Thurber. This is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
