light paradeJoin the fun! Grantsville City is starting a new holiday tradition, The Light Parade. The route will be from West Street down Main Street to Quirk Street ending at Grantsville High School. We would like anyone that would like to participate to join us, please meet at 5:30pm at the intersection of West and Main Street heading towards Clark Street. We are asking people to decorate your vehicles, trailers, floats, whatever you wish to put in the parade. We will be offering a prize for the best lighting features and design. We will gather to sing Christmas Carols at the Grantsville High School gymnasium following the parade.

Simultaneously, Trista Bell-Nuttall is organizing a Bake Sale/Raffle to benefit a local family. “As you all know my sister Natasha lost her husband Logan Hardman in a boating accident in the Great salt lake a few weeks ago he leaves behind her and 2 small children Brynnlee 4 and Brody 11 months there was no life insurance so bills will be piling up I am doing a raffle and bake sell on Thursday the 20th from 5-7 out side the fire station to raise money for this beautiful family. there will also be a Christmas light show and parade so grab some hot chocolate and a yummy treat and enjoy the festivities i also have some items to raffle off so stop by and donate every little bit helps.” For more information on the bake sale/raffle see http://www.facebook.com/events/299222003530061/.
