KDK9’s Basic Obedience Class for all ages of dogs and handlers will start January 16. The first class of the six-week course will be held at Cal Ranch. The remainder class locations will be announced. Cost is $89/dog. Free training lead included. Week one is about dog psychology (no dogs, bring the family from 6-8pm). Weeks two to six will be about learning the basics and beyond from 6-7 pm. Proceeds support KDK9’s SAR and Detector Team. For more info and registration, call 837-2134.
