Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is organized by Samaritan’s Purse, an international, non-profit relief organization that aims to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ by aiding the world’s poor and sick through the donation of food, medicine and assistance to those who have been in a natural disaster.

Ordinary people fill shoeboxes or small containers with donations that go to underprivileged children around the world. Shoeboxes will be accepted at Mountain of Faith Lutheran Church at 560 S Main Street in Tooele.

People can also drop off just a few items and we can build boxes. “This whole program is just about reaching out to children and spreading God’s love.” For more information, call 882-7291.
