Church at Water’s Edge
Caroling under the new Stansbury Park Pavilion near the Clubhouse. Pastor Pete Kirchhoff says all are welcome, “The Pavilion will be decorated with lights and there will be plenty of hot cocoa. We will be singing Christmas carols and reading verses from the Bible about Jesus. It’s going to be a real family-friendly activity.” The Church at Water’s Edge is also having a Christmas-themed service at 10 am Sunday, Dec 23rd in the Stansbury High School cafeteria.
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
Each LDS congregation will meet at its regular time (9am, 11am, 1pm) on Dec 23 and services will include Christmas musical numbers, readings from the scriptures and talks about Christmas.
Mountain View Baptist Church in Grantsville
Candlelight Christmas service on December 23 at 6pm. The community is invited to come to the church where there will be candlelight caroling, a brief devotional and the reading of the Christmas story from the Bible. 822 E Main St # 2, Grantsville, UT 84029
Tooele United Methodist Church
On Dec. 24 at 4 p.m., we will have a Christmas Eve family candlelight service called “The Simple Story of Christmas.” At Tooele UMC we welcome all who want to discover God’s love and worship in a friendly, accepting and loving environment. St. Marguerite Catholic Church
St. Marguerite’s will hold 3 separate masses. First, a children’s mass Dec 24 at 5:00pm. “We have a children’s pageant that’s put on by our school kids.” Next a bilingual Spanish and English mass Dec 24 at 8 pm. On Christmas morning, an English mass will be held at 10 am. 15 S 7th St, Tooele
First Baptist Church
Our annual candlelight Christmas Eve service will be open to all at First Baptist Church at 580 S. Main St. in Tooele. It is a warm tradition and a wonderful way to welcome Christmas Day. It is at 7 p.m. on Dec. 24. We read through the account of Christ’s birth and sing traditional Christmas songs. Please join us. Call 882-2048 for more information. “We will have actual candles. It’s a warm and traditional service. We read through the advent account and sing a song that corresponds to the birth of Christ. Then we’ll read and sing, read and sing. It’s an encouraging time to listen to the word of God and sing traditional Christmas songs that correspond. Mountain of Faith Lutheran Church
Christmas Eve Candlelight service will begin at 7pm on Dec 24. This year will be special because the Tooele County Choral Society will be singing at the service.The evening will be spent singing and reading verses from the Bible. There will be no sermon. After the service, hot cocoa and treats will be provided in the Fellowship Hall for anyone who want to hang around.
