Hours of Operation: The operations center, fueling service and museum are all open from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm – 7 days a week, but to visit the museum, arrive at least 1 hour before closing.

Wendover Airbase Museum
The Wendover Airbase Museum is filled with artifacts, photographs and interpretive displays that tell the story of how the airbase played a crucial role in ending the war with Japan over 60 years ago. The airfield and surrounding desert were used by flight and bomb crews of the Enola Gay and Bock’s Car as they prepared to drop atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. The museum and displays are in the Operations Building. Wendover Airbase is an active airport and the museum is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

How to get there: From I-80, exit onto Wendover Blvd. On the Utah side, turn south onto First Street (100 East) and continue south for onequarter mile to the airport property at 345 S. Airport Apron.
