Three blocks east of Main Street on the northwest corner of Vine and Broadway Streets
The Tooele Valley Railroad Museum features treasures from the area’s early railroad and mining days. On the museum property is the actual Engine #11, which transported ore and employees between Tooele and the International Smelting and Refining Company at Carr Fork. The museum holds restored rail cars and the old Warner Station.
The museum is open Memorial Day through August 31 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. For more information call (435) 882-2839.
Miniature train enthusiasts from Utah often bring their home-built trains to the museum to use the facility’s tracks and give rides to visitors.
